Stephen, Gerardo and Andrea collecting their Staff Oscars awards

Award Ceremony, held on the evening of 28 April 2015, celebrated the achievements of University staff members. With a staggering 615 nominations made this year, 糖心原创 students showcased the amazing work over 14 nominations categories from best personal tutor through to best support staff member and best use of technology to enhance learning.

, and attended the black tie event to collect their awards. Gerardo accompanied by his wife Samantha and his son Giovanni, won an Oscar in the "Best research supervisor" category. Andrea, accompanied by her daughter Ceri, collected her runner up certificate for "University Life: Best member of support staff (School/ Department)" and Stephen Cox, accompanied by his wife Anna, was also presented with a runner up certificate for "Teaching: Best All-Rounder".
