Past Professor-Honoured
A Professor Emeritus of The School of Mathematical Sciences - Professor Robin Lyth Hudson- has been honoured with the title of Doctor Honoris Causa at the University of Lodz in Poland.
This is in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of Quantum Probability. He discovered the first quantum central limit theorem and was one of the originators of quantum stochastic calculus.
He received his award from the University of Lodz at an official ceremony which took place at the beginning of this month
