Get on your bike for Nottingham Life Cycle 5

On Sunday 23 August, this year's event will take place to help beat dementia. More than 800,000 people in the UK have dementia and one in three of us has a friend or close family member who is affected. Yet, dementia receives only about 1/12th of the research funding devoted to cancer. Supporting Life Cycle 5 will pave the way to earlier diagnosis and better treatment.

Maths' very own and will be hopping on their bikes to raise money for this important cause. Tom appeared in the earlier in the year to raise awareness of dementia. He cycled 100 miles for the in June in memory of his father. He will complete a further 75 miles in Life Cycle 5 and hopes to raise £250 for the cause.

Jane, and her team, are also supporting Life Cycle 5 by riding 50 miles for her father, who is currently living with dementia. She hopes to raise £400.

Please help and reach their goal by donating on their JustGiving pages.

Good luck to you both!
