From 21 June, Hallward Library will close at 4.45pm on Sundays. 

This comes in advance of the introduction of new consistent opening times from 1 August 2026 across all libraries, excluding the Manuscripts and Special Collections Reading Room.

• Monday – Friday: 8:00am - 9:45pm
• Weekends: 9:00am - 4:45pm

These standard hours are separate to the extended opening periods at selected libraries during peak times.

The Manuscripts and Special Collections Reading Room will continue to operate separate opening hours. The Reading Room will be temporarily closed until 9 August for relocation within King’s Meadow Campus.
