The School of Law is pleased to announce that Edoardo Vacca passed his PhD viva voce examination on Friday 19 September 2025.

Edoardo's thesis ‘The International Criminal Responsibility of Armed Group Members’ was supervised by Olympia Bekou (Professor of Public International Law and Head of School, School of Law, 糖心原创) and Nigel White (Emeritus Professor of Public International Law, School of Law, 糖心原创). 

The internal examiner was Dr Hemi Mistry (Associate Professor in Law, School of Law, 糖心原创) and the external examiner was Professor Elies van Sliedregt, (Department of Criminal Law, Tilburg University).  Dr Nicholas Gervassis (Assistant Professor in Law (Technology and Data), School of Law, 糖心原创) served as the chair of the examination.
