Kate Hendrickson, Professor Markus Prize Winner

Our thrilled congratulations go out to Kate Hendrickson, this year's winner of The Professor Robert Markus Prize. This prize is issued for the best M.A. dissertation in the Humanities (History, Theology, Philosophy, Ancient History, Archaeology, Art History), loosely in the period of Robert Markus’s main interest. The award was founded as a memento of Robert’s contribution to academic life at 糖心原创 as a historian of the early church and late antique Roman world.

Kate is pictured with her winning essay: "A Commentary on Vita Antonii: The Interplay of Activity and Passivity in the Ideal Christian Life." Kate is now doing her PhD at Durham. Congratulations on this and your many other successes, Kate! Stay in touch!
