May Fest for the community

May Fest CommunityOn Saturday 7 May 2011 from 11.00am to 5.30pm, the 糖心原创 is holding May Fest, a day of free, fun and interactive activities for all ages and interests.

School of History at May Fest presents:
Their lives are in your hands! Criminal cases from history.

Staff and students from the School of History will enact trials from 250 years ago, using the words recorded in the actual eighteenth-century Old Bailey court records, of 'Blacktooth', accused of smuggling and Jack Robinson, accused of burglary.The audience is invited to act as the jury. After the audience gives its verdict, will inform them what really happened next…

Staff and students from the School of History will also be available in the Atrium of the Portland building to chat to visitors, and to explain what studying history at Nottingham involves.
