Dave Appleby spoke to the seminar in 2016 on the subject of the British Civil Wars and the Restoration. Since then he has joined with Professor Andy Hopper at the University of Leicester in a major, AHRC funded project on Civil War petitions, entitled .

The seminar will examine what petitions were, what they tell us about people caught up in the Civil Wars, and where the project is heading over the next few years.

All are welcome. Booking is not necessary and the entry fee of £5 includes refreshments.
