On 29-30 January 2016 the Centre for Ancient Drama and its Reception will host the 2 day conference

Organiser Lynn Fotheringham from the Department of Classics and Arcaheology recently visited director Robert Icke in London at the Almedia Theatre, to talk about his modernisation of Aeschylus’ . Lynn wanted to get an understanding of his modernisation of the play and in particular the first act where Iphigenia’s sacrifice is referenced in the .
