The NAPS is a distinguished learned society for patristics, i.e. the study of the early Christian writers known as the ‘Church fathers’. Professor Lee’s paper formed part of a panel on ‘War, Narrative, and Religion’ and was entitled ‘Human and Divine Agency in War in the Chronicle of Pseudo-Joshua the Stylite’.
