Congratulations to our recent PhD graduate, Dr Kristopher Poole, whose doctoral research has recently been making the headlines.

Kristopher's thesis examined human-animal relationships in Anglo-Saxon England and demonstrated how the pagan love of horse-meat was stamped out with the arrival of Christianity. His work has been featured in ,  and on BBC Radio 4 and 5.
