The Quality Manual gives guidance on policy and procedures relating to the external examining process.
The Head of School ensures that annual and final reports are received, comply with the standard requirements outlined in the External Examiner report form, and are available to, and considered by, the School’s Staff Student Consultative Committee(s), relevant School and Academic Boards.
An annual report relating to External Examiners is submitted to Learning and Teaching Committee. Where issues arise that require further consideration at University level, these are fed in as appropriate to policy development within the University.
