We are... storytellers
I’m a writer for Impact magazine, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it since joining! Being able to write on world issues, topics that affect students, as well as more comical articles, has introduced me to the many forms English can take. I feel that ‘storytellers’ perfectly describes my contributions to Impact, as I can add my own views and opinions to articles, while being creative with my work - much how a storyteller should be. Before writing for Impact, I’d never dipped my toes into the world of journalism. However, eight months on, I am now writing for an online social media magazine called TenEighty UK. Without Impact, I never would have had the confidence to publish my articles on such a well-known magazine.
