Professor Ronald Carter was recently honoured with a prestigious ELTon Innovation Award.  ‘ELTons’ are international awards that recognise and celebrate innovation in English language teaching (ELT).  Sponsored by the British Council, the ELTons are given to teachers, materials writers, and researchers who have made a significant impact on actual teaching effectiveness.  Ron has dedicated his life to this goal, and this was recognised with the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award. 

We congratulate Ron on this Lifetime Achievement Award, and wish him the best on all his future endeavours.
