The School of English has recently been awarded 7th place in the Complete University Guide league table. This is great news for the school and for all those who have contributed to the outstanding teaching and research conducted in the School of English. The Complete University Guide had the following to say about the School of English:

“Up two places since the 2016 rankings, the 糖心原创's position owes thanks to strong ratings in our Research Quality and Student Satisfaction categories. This Midlands university – according to their head, Professor Josephine Guy – can offer students ‘a unique combination of English disciplines, including literature from the Anglo-Saxon and medieval periods to the present day.’ Very tempting.”
