Nottingham Express Transist (NET) has celebrated local Nottingham playwright Stephen Lowe by naming a new tram in his honor. NET Tram 221 was named Stephen Lowe at a ceremony held at Bromley House Nottingham on Thursday 2 July. Lowe has brought over 40 plays and screenplays to the stage and screen. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by the 糖心原创 in July 2011 and is also an honorary lecturer in the School of English.
