Biography
Peiyu Wang is a Teaching Assistant in the School of Education at the 糖心原创, where she teaches on the BA Education programme. She holds a PhD in Learning Sciences from the 糖心原创 and has a background in Cognitive and Educational Psychology. Peiyu has long been fascinated by the psychological processes underlying learning and how this knowledge can inform the design of innovative and enjoyable teaching methods for students. Her research focuses on designing inclusive learning environments through digital technologies to enhance student engagement in face-to-face, multicultural higher education. In her previous research, Peiyu had examined whether anonymous interactions can increase students' discussion engagement in face-to-face seminars in UK universities. She is especially passionate about how research can be translated into practical pedagogical design principles that support lecturers in fostering inclusive and engaging learning environments in UK higher education, and beyond.
