Designed in formal partnership with the Fijian Ministry and created with our CARE approach, each experience generates local income, empowerment and cultural exchange.

Start and end at the beautiful beach resorts of the Coral Coast. During the weekends explore the jungle highlands with riverside swims, and jungle hikes.

Global Futures Bali

Join university students and discover Bali beyond the tourist trail.

Explore spectacular landscapes, experience Balinese culture and community life, and learn from local organisations addressing real social and environmental challenges. Along the way, you’ll work with your team on a Global Futures Action Project designed to develop your ideas, confidence and skills.

This is learning through experience: asking thoughtful questions, challenging assumptions and collaborating with people from different backgrounds. It’s not simply a holiday in Bali, it’s an opportunity to understand the island from a local perspective and return home with new friendships, meaningful experiences and greater confidence for your future.

About Bali

'There is no other place like Bali. A magical blend of a colourful culture, friendly people, stunning nature, countless activities, tropical weather, culinary delights, vibrant nightlife, and beautiful accommodation. Bali is rated regularly as one of the best travel destinations in the world – for very good reasons. There is something great for everyone to explore and discover.' Source: bali.com
'Off the beaten path in Bali, you can find hidden villages, ancient temples, beautiful seascapes, and other culturally interesting places. To get a good look at things, you need peace and quiet. Most tourists rent scooters to get around Bali, but you can also rent a car with a driver. A botanical garden, a hot spring, and some rice paddies. Take part in a mountain-biking or hiking excursion or ascend the summit of a volcano. The good news is that Bali is relatively small, and despite the fact that roads are narrow and traffic can be a bit crazy at times, you can easily explore many of Bali’s wonders within 10-12 hours.'

Global Futures Thailand

Global Futures is a summer of adventure, purpose and real-world learning in Northern Thailand.

Join a team, immerse yourself in Thai culture and bring what you learn together through a real-world Action Project. Step outside your comfort zone and return home with new perspectives, practical skills and far more than great memories.

About Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is where ancient temples, old city walls and centuries of Lanna culture meet bustling markets, incredible street food, creative neighbourhoods, universities, social impact organisations and a thriving international community.

Surrounded by mountains, the city is also the gateway to a much bigger Northern Thailand adventure. Journey into national parks, remote mountain communities and tea-growing regions. Along the way, discover the people, landscapes, traditions and challenges that make Northern Thailand such a fascinating place.
