Your results will be available slightly later than expected

The recent cyber incident has impacted several key academic and administrative processes, including the preparation and publication of your assessment results. Therefore, your results will be released later than originally scheduled.

Your assessments results will be available via BlueCastle from 10am on Thursday 16 July 2026.

Information about any reassessments you are required to complete will be available via BlueCastle from 10am on Thursday 23 July 2026.

The reassessment period will take place from Monday 17 August until Saturday 29 August, as planned.

You can with your university username and password.

We will let you know when your results are available – please keep an eye on university communications channels.

Further information about your assessments

If you have assessments affected by the Marking and Assessment Boycott (MAB), these will be clearly indicated in BlueCastle. You’ll receive an email on Thursday 16 July about the options available to you once results have been released.

The reassessment period of Monday 17 August until Saturday 29 August 2026 remains unchanged. If you are required to complete reassessments, details will be available via BlueCastle from Thursday 23 July 2026. The reassessment timetable will be made available during the week commencing Monday 3 August 2026.

Final-year students

If you have completed your programme of study, your final award will be formally conferred during the week commencing Monday 27 July 2026. Digital certificates and a transcript of your marks will be made available shortly afterwards, and printed certificates will be posted from early August. You can still attend your graduation ceremony provided you have registered to do so.

We understand that many of you are waiting for your results in order to make decisions about employment, further study and other future plans. We are sorry for the uncertainty this delay may be causing and we appreciate your patience and understanding while we bring our student records system back online.
