Friday 10 October marks World Mental Health Day and so here is a reminder of the support services available across the university throughout the year. There are many reasons you may be looking for additional support, from academic or personal matters, to the complex sociocultural tensions playing out across the world.

Below are resources available to help you navigate these pressures and foster resilience. We are committed to ensuring we do everything we can to provide a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all of our community.

If you’re struggling with academic matters or any issue related to your wellbeing, you can book an appointment – in-person or online – with your local Support and Wellbeing team via the .

You can always check in with your personal tutor or supervisor for support and guidance, otherwise the following support is available:

  • Student Wellbeing Services provide a range of support services
  • The team offers a free, confidential and impartial service, independent from the university

  • The Community Engagement Ambassadors team provide support those living in Lenton, Radford and Beeston
  • The Chaplaincy provides support across all faiths
