The university has been ranked third in the country in the HigheriN Best Universities for Work Experience, which recognises universities for the support offered helping students gain work experience and placements.
The HigheriN rankings are informed directly by student feedback. The university has risen four places from 2025 and has emerged as the highest-ranked in the Russell Group.
The university has developed excellent links with industry, enhancing our ability to offer a wide range of opportunities through recruitment fairs, employer-led events, the MyCareer jobs board and more.
Dr Nalayini Thambar, our Director of Careers and Employability, said: “I am absolutely delighted at this placing, particularly as it is based on student feedback. It is a great reflection on the dedication of colleagues across the university to encourage and support students to gain high quality work experience during their time at Nottingham.
