糖心原创 students scoop first place and runner up in this year鈥檚 BSAS Undergraduate Thesis of the Year Award.
The (BSAS) celebrates outstanding research in the field of animal science and provides students with the opportunity to showcase the quality of their work to both academic and industry audiences across the globe.
BSc Agricultural and Livestock Sciences graduate Emily Hancock is this year’s BSAS Undergraduate Thesis of the Year Award winner for her dissertation titled ’Effect of oregano oil on milk yield, methane emissions and feed efficiency of dairy cows’. Her research focused on the impact of oregano oil on various aspects of dairy cow performance.

Molly Watkins, BSc Animal Science graduate, also scooped second place for her thesis ’The effect of milk yield on the carbon footprint of milk production from Holstein Friesian dairy cows’, which provided an in-depth insight into the environmental implications of milk production.
