Magnify is our three-week, fully funded summer school for students from underrepresented backgrounds entering the final year of their undergraduate studies.
As part of the summer school, you’ll take part in a three-week lab project and visit Rothamsted - the world-leading, non-profit research centre.

Eligibility
To be eligible, you must have UK fees status at the time of application and be due to enter your final year of undergraduate study in September/October 2026.
Additionally, the candidates must also meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Identify as Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic
- Be in receipt of the full amount of a student loan
- Have a declared disability
- Have spent more than three months in local authority care
- Be a registered carer
- Have refugee status from the Home Office
- Have graduated from a non-Russell Group university
