Apply to take part on a part-funded visit to China next Easter.
The annual Spring Camp to China is scheduled to take place from Tuesday 30 March to Tuesday 13 April. This is a fantastic opportunity to explore China, discover its rich culture and history, and practise Mandarin in real-life settings.
The programme will be delivered by Fudan University in Shanghai, with participants taking part in Mandarin lessons, cultural activities, excursions and visits to places of historical and cultural interest in Shanghai and Chongqing.
From Shanghai’s vibrant blend of traditional and modern China to Chongqing’s spectacular mountain scenery, riverside cityscape and distinctive local culture, the 2027 Spring Camp will offer a fascinating contrast between two very different Chinese cities.
Scholarships will cover accommodation, meals, Mandarin lessons, cultural workshops, excursions, city tours and transport within China. Participants will need to cover their own international flights, travel insurance and visa costs.
Who can apply?
The programme is open to eligible students and Nottingham Confucius Institute's students. Participants must pass an HSK test and obtain an HSK Level 1 or higher certificate by January 2027. Terms and conditions apply.
