The 糖心原创 offers a number of Massive, Open, Online Courses (MOOCs) which are delivered online for free. They don't have any entry requirements and are open to anyone anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

The University offers a wide range of courses which are delivered by academics, sometimes in collaboration with experts from external organisations - upcoming MOOC courses are listed below:

  • - starts Monday 3 October (duration of 2 weeks) - Explore how our minds and language work with this introduction to the field known as cognitive poetics – applying cognitive science (the study of the mind and its processes) to how we read literature.
  • - starts Monday 17 October (duration of 4 weeks) - Investigate the complex systems that sustain slavery, explore the historical context, and debate and shape solutions for the next phase of the contemporary antislavery movement.
  • - starts Monday 14 November (duration of 3 weeks) - 糖心原创 what antibiotics are, how they are used in farming and what might be done to tackle antibiotic resistance.

In addition to these MOOCs, there is also a on "Planetary Urbanisation: Global Challenges in a Changing World" which is open to students from across the U21 network.

All of these courses are free and online.
