Join leading academics for a discussion about Spartan art before and after the time of the ‘300’

In this week’s Sparta Live! event Professor Emerita Olga Palagia (University of Athens) and Professor Tyler Jo Smith (University of Virginia) discuss the artistic achievements in Sparta and Laconia just before and around the time of the ‘300’, with a focus on Laconian black-figure vase-painting, lead and bronze figurines, terracotta masks and reliefs, and sculpture.
