About Our Speakers
Nick Brown Former Head of Languages, assistant headteacher, county adviser and senior examiner with over 20 years of experience. Holds a Master’s degree in classroom climate and has recently completed SENCO training. Speaker of French, Spanish and Russian, with extensive experience supporting Chinese teachers and learners.
Dr Lily Chen PhD in Linguistics (University of Durham). Former lecturer at the University of Sheffield, where she founded and directed the MA in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. Published in leading academic journals and currently teaches translation at the Open University.
