Biography

Dr. Liew Kian Wah holds a BSc degree in mathematics from National Taiwan Normal University and has completed his PhD in the fields of probability and statistics at the University of Malaya. He is also a Financial Risk Manager certified by the Global Association of Risk Professionals.

Subjects taught in the past:

• Various general mathematics units for biomedical sciences, physics, engineering and mathematics major.
• More specialized subjects include: Financial Economics, Stochastic Processes, Financial Risk Management, Actuarial Modeling, Statistical Simulation, Fundamentals of Financial Mathematics, Applied Statistical Models.
