Biography

Betsy has been teaching Mathematics since 1998. She graduated from University of Malaya with a Bachelor degree with honors in Mathematics in the year of 1990. She was offered a fellowship from University of Malaya to involve in a tidal modeling research project and she was awarded a Master degree in 1994. She also obtained a Master degree in Information Technology in the year of 2004. She joined the School of Mathematical Sciences, ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ Malaysia since January, 2011.

Current Research

Her research is related to mathematics education and digital technology in teaching at the tertiary level. Her research area includes the features of mathematical writing in mathematical problem solving, metacognition and virtual learning.
