In this session, participants will explore and reflect on the impact the Know Your Neighbourhood Fund has had on local communities.
The session will explore the difference creative activities have made in improving health, wellbeing and sense of connection and an overview of the results of a Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS)-backed piece of research into the impact of creative activities on loneliness, including mechanisms for success and case studies of targeted place-based approaches.
Exploration in the session will feature the key programme findings, outcomes and points of learning, including hearing from delivery partners, Creative Lives, on examples of practice.
The session will be an opportunity to hear about the programme, the outcomes so far, and ask questions to the Creative Health team at Arts Council England and Creative Lives, who support those delivering community and voluntary-led creative activities.
