This festival aims to celebrate and shine a light on collaborative research activities, cultural knowledge exchange, and all kinds of partnerships between universities and the arts and cultural sectors and the communities of interest they serve.
The event will:
- showcase some of the brilliant collaborations taking place between universities and the arts and culture sector and the transformative impacts of such work;
- inspire fresh thinking about the values, scope and possibilities of cultural knowledge exchange and the vibrant networks and connections they foster; and
- encourage conversation, knowledge-sharing, discussion, and debate on a host of topics while creating opportunities for further collaboration.
This event will bring together a diverse range of events on themes including:
- creative hubs within and beyond education;
- culture and its role in supporting civic engagement;
- advancing collaboration and knowledge exchange across the GLAM sectors;
- exploring ethical, embodied, creative co-production;
- research and technology innovations in and with the heritage sector;
- creative potentials of AI;
- understanding approaches to valuing cultural knowledge exchange; and
- exploring the value of research exhibitions and university cultural infrastructures.
