- Professor Jennifer Rubin (Chair of the Advisory Board for the School for Government at King’s College London, and former Chief Scientific Adviser and Director General, Science, Technology, Analysis and Research (STAR) in the Home Office)
- Professor Jennifer Rubin served as the Home Office Chief Scientific Adviser from January 2021 to December 2025.
- Before joining the Home Office, Professor Rubin was the Executive Chair of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the UK’s largest funder of economic and social research.
- Previously, Professor Rubin was Director of the Policy Institute at King’s College London, where she remains a professor.
