Autumn semester 2019 enrolment sessions for Language Centre modules for credits for Nottingham students

Students can diversify their degree course by choosing a language module for credits.  At the Language Centre we focus on providing language modules with the emphasis on communication. The modules are supported by the virtual learning environment Moodle, digital classrooms and a Self Access Centre for independent learning.

We offer 10 credit modules in Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Russian and Spanish. The levels range from Stage 1 (complete beginners) to Stage 6 (near native speaker competence). It is possible to improve existing skills or start a new language. 

Enrolment dates 

• Monday 23^rd September 12noon – 3pm
  • Trent LG6, LG9 and LG11
  • Language Centre enrolment for pre-enrolled students

• Tuesday 24^th September 10am – 12.30pm and 2pm – 4pm
  • Trent LG6, LG9 and LG11
  • Language Centre enrolment for students whom an interfaculty language module is compulsory and those who have pre-enrolled 

• Wednesday 25^th September 10am – 4pm
  • Trent LG6, LG9, LG11, LG13 and LG14
  • Open enrolment for all students wishing to take an interfaculty language module

• Thursday 26^th September 10am – 12noon & 2pm – 4pm
  • Trent C55, C70 and C72
  • Open enrolment for all students wishing to take an interfaculty language module

Please Note: Registering an interest online does not guarantee you a place on a module. You MUST attend a Language Centre enrolment session held during Welcome Week to discuss your choice with the relevant academic. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis at the enrolment sessions.
