Biography

Dr Stephen Argent obtained a PhD on the topic of Supramolecular Coordination Chemistry at the Universities of Bristol and Sheffield. He obtained his MNatSci (Chem) at the University of Birmingham. He previously held positions as a Senior Research Fellow at the Universities of Nottingham and Warwick. He has been the manager of the Chemical Crystallography Service and lecturer in Solid State Chemistry at the ÌÇÐÄÔ­´´ since 2019.

Current Research

My current role is to assist and collaborate with researchers in the School of Chemistry with their work requiring single crystal and powder crystalline X-ray diffraction methods. My personal interest is in the self-assembly of metallo-supramolecular coordination molecules and materials.
