The East Midlands Section of the Royal Society of Chemistry presented their annual Undergraduate Practical Prizes on the 10th March at the E.On Technology Centre, as part of their AGM. These prizes are awarded to students at East Midlands universities who have obtained the highest practical mark in their first year of their degree course. This year the student from Nottingham awarded this prize was Rowena Howie, now in her second year.
