As part of the 50th Anniversary celebrations taking place throughout 2010, the School of Chemistry organised an extra special Graduation and prize-giving ceremony on the 19th July 2010.

Former technical and academic staff were invited to join graduates, their families, and current staff and researchers in celebrating the successes of the class of 2010, and together they watched the spectacular Thunder and Lightning lecture performed by Pete Licence and Jim Gamble. This was followed by afternoon tea accompanied by a huge celebratory cake.
