CeDex is pleased to be welcoming of the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo to visit the School of Economics on various dates until the summer.
Alistair works on experimental/behavioural and environmental economics () and he is also Co-Chief Editor of Environmental and Resource Economics.
He is a co-author and former colleague of several members of CeDEx and previously served as external examiner for the Masters programme. His current research includes an ongoing experiment in Indonesia on tacit bargaining amongst married couples, tests of Bayesian reasoning within the household and a field experiment in Thailand on the balance-matching heuristic for debt management. His ongoing environmental research includes a study on the value of USAID for air quality monitoring in sub-Saharan Africa.
He will be around on most Wednesdays and Thursdays until July and is very happy to talk to faculty and PhD students about research.
