Whether you have only recently graduated or are more established in your career, the university provides support throughout your life. You can make an appointment with a careers adviser (in-person or virtual), browse the online jobs board and attend any of the service's tailored events. There's also a host of first-hand blogs written by fellow alumni, sharing their workplace stories.

2. Discounted library membership

If you want to relive those long cramming sessions in Hallward, or simply want to up your Goodreads count in 2026, then why not apply for a library membership? The annual fee for alumni is half the standard price and gives you access to all 12 of our libraries on University Park, Jubilee and Sutton Bonington.

3. Discounted gym membership

Alumni and Associate Sport and Fitness Membership offers excellent value for money. As well as the state-of-the-art £40 million David Ross Sports Village with gym, swim and climb facilities, Alumni and Associate Membership also includes access to our sports centres on Jubilee and Sutton Bonington campuses. It costs just £34.90 monthly, with the option of paying for 12 months for the price of 10 if you sign up for annual membership.

4. Discounted accommodation on campus

If you ever plan to pay a visit back to Nottingham, why not stay right here on campus for a discounted rate? The Orchard Hotel on University Park and Jubilee Hotel on (you guessed it) Jubilee Campus are our modern options to rest your head for an evening. Or, if you prefer, relieve your student days by staying in student accommodation (outside of term time and selected halls only).
