ÌÇÐÄÔ´´

Triangle

The University’s commitment to Hong Kong is longstanding. The ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ Hong Kong Foundation, established in 2005, created a formal platform to strengthen engagement, philanthropy and partnership within this vital community.

The Hong Kong Alumni Scholarship is a powerful expression of this bond, it reflects alumni commitment to ensuring that this connection continues to thrive.

To date, four outstanding Hong Kong students have already benefited – each recognised for academic excellence and promise, and each contributing meaningfully to our campus community. Their journeys mark the beginning of a growing legacy.

Hong Kong plays a pivotal role in the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´’s global vision. As one of our largest sources of international undergraduate applications, it represents both a vital talent pipeline and a deeply valued partner in Asia. The remarkable achievements of our alumni here, combined with the strong and sustained demand for a Nottingham education, reflect the strength of this enduring relationship. Together, we are building a future defined by global collaboration, opportunity, and impact across the region.

Building on a proud legacy

Across decades, graduates have returned to Hong Kong and beyond to lead in finance, law, medicine, technology, education, entrepreneurship and public life. You are part of that legacy. And now, we have the opportunity to build upon it.

Each academic year, this scholarship provides one outstanding Hong Kong-based undergraduate student with a £10,000 tuition fee waiver a year for up to three years (£30,000 in total) at the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ (UK). Open to students across all disciplines at the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´ (UK), this award recognises both academic excellence and future promise.

It is a meaningful investment at a defining moment – strengthening confidence, affirms potential and provides momentum as a young person steps onto the global stage.

By supporting this scholarship, you are:

  • Strengthening one of the University’s most valued international partnerships
  • Reinforcing Hong Kong’s vibrant presence within our global community
  • Investing in the next generation of globally minded Hong Kong leaders
  • Sustaining an alumni-led legacy

These individuals represent a pioneering group whose generosity is helping to shape the next chapter of the ÌÇÐÄÔ´´’s commitment to Hong Kong.
