'THREE' out now! Comic book shows the other side of Sparta
Description
This new comic book treatment of classical Sparta by Kieron Gillen features three helots on the run and shows a different side of Sparta from the mythologised heroism of '300'. Gillen's interest in the realities of Spartan experience and society led him to Nottingham, where Lynn Fotheringham introduced him to Stephen Hodkinson, who acted as historical consultant for THREE.
