Biography

Marc A. 顿谤别脽濒别谤 is a Teaching Associate in the School of Education at the 糖心原创, where he contributes to the MA in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling & Psychotherapy Practice. As a member of the Centre for Research in Human Flourishing, his research interests include personal growth and human potential, the formative and actualising tendency, the effects of ideology (especially neoliberalism), systems of power, the flourishing of people in creative professions, agile leadership, and the experiences of desi clients. He previously served as Clinic Manager of the University of Aberdeen's counselling training and research clinic, overseeing the training of both person-centred and pluralist counsellors. Describing himself as a psychotherartist, he blends and gains inspiration out of both psychotherapy and art. As a psychotherapist, artist, and listening-leadership consultant he has worked across Europe, South America and India. Marc holds an MA in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling & Psychotherapy Practice, a PgDip in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy, and a BSc (Hons) in Behavioural Studies. He is a registered member of the BACP, holds a Diploma in Hypnotherapy (CMA accredited), is an alumnus of the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD Berlin), is a Heilpraktiker (Psychotherapie) in Germany, and currently serves on the ethical committee of PCE Europe.
